#MyTravelingStory: EXPERIENCE YANGYANG! (2018 WOWKOREA SUPPORTERS 1ST FIELD TRIP PART 1)

Hello bloggers!

I came back with my traveling story~ Last week I got a really great traveling opportunity, supported by a program called WOWKOREA Supporter, arranged by Korea Tourism Organization! More about this program you can check it on their website HERE. As a part of 2018 WOWKOREA Supporter, I will have 4 field trips in total, going around South Korea, to places you (maybe me too) have never known before! Ey~ South Korea isn't only about Seoul guys! If you want to know more about my trip and where will I visit in the future, do not miss my WOWKOREA Supporter post from now on!

Okay ~ For this first field trip, we had 3 days 2 nights trip to Gangwon-do! Where's Gangwon-do? I am not that good with geography so I cannot describe it by north, south, etc, so here, I will just show you with this map! :)

Gangwon-do is that green one!

So, I went from Dajeon to Seoul first to meet my fellow 2018 WOWKOREA Supporter friends. We met at Gangnam, Seoul, said hello to each other and took bus to go to Yangyang! Yangyang(-gun) is a county in Gangwon province. Our first destination was Naksansa (Naksan Temple), but before going there, we went for lunch first! As expected, traveling with empty stomach was not good, so let's charge our energy first! We had this delicious Makguksu (noodle, with special soup or sauce, I chose soup and it turned out to be like this...)

are you hungry now? ahaha

With full stomach, we were ready to travel, yay! But before that happened, we had a short briefing of how program will be done, at orientation in Naksan Beach Hotel.

Okay, now let me make a list for places we visited on our first day!

1. Naksan Temple (Naksansa / 낙산사)

source : Kore Tourism Organization

Official Website : http://www.naksansa.or.kr/web/intro.php
Entrance Fee : adult 3,000 won, student 1,500 won, child 1,000 won
Location: 100 Naksansa-ro, Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do

It was really nice place with fresh air and beautiful scenery! Many Korean visited this temple, they came for sight-seeing and hiking to the temple. Good for health, good for mind refreshment! You should visit this temple too if you visit South Korea later guys! And here are some pictures I took there, do not mind our faces, just enjoy this place beauty! Haha

2. Naksan Beach (낙산해수욕장)

source: Korea Tourism Organization

Location: 59, Haemaji-gil, Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do (Can be accessed by walking from Naksan Temple).

Beach! My favorite part of earth! I always love to go to beach. If you like beaches, you have to go there too! It's really worth your time! First, it has white sand and clear blue water. Second, it is not crowded, so you can run around freely, none will disturb you, for sure! (I did this haha). Third, it is a perfect place to see sunrise! Indeed Gangwon-do beaches are great place for sunrise lovers! Come, come here everyone! Look at how exciting us playing there!

3. Yangyang International Airport (양양 국제공항)

source: Korea Tourism Organization

Official Website: http://www.airport.co.kr/yangyangeng/index.do Location: 201, Gonghang-ro, Sonyang-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do

Do you guys know that Indonesian can travel to South Korea without visa? All you have to do is enter South Korea through this airport! Not only Indonesia, but also some Asian countries, for Indonesian friends who are insterested, you can find more information HERE. Also, we experienced many things too in Yangyang International Airport! Here are some proofs!

As for that three, we officially finished our first day trip at Gangwon-do! Oops, not yet, there was still last destination that day! It was fish party! What was that? Of course, dinner! It was not complete to go to Yangyang without trying its fresh fishes! So here we were before going to our hotel~

With full stomach, we went back to hotel and took a rest! First day was amazing, cannot wait to write about second day trip stories, still in Gangwon-do! :)

First day, kkeeeeuuuttt! (finished)
